Bolstering its support for the travel trade, AIC Hotel Group has formed a host agency sales department, naming Laura Blanco to head up the new venture as director of host agency sales.

Blanco, who spent 15 years at Cruise Planners, where she played a crucial role in “diversifying the business in land travel and working as the supplier relations liaison.
She also served as a business development manager for Sandals and Beaches resorts and Costa Cruises.
“Supporting entrepreneurs and growing businesses has always been my passion, along with a deep love for the travel industry and world-class resorts,” Blanco said.” With AIC Hotel Group, I’m fortunate to combine both – focusing on a vital segment of the distribution channel while doing what I truly love.”
AIC Hotel Group is responsible for the sales and marketing of Eden Roc Miami Beach; Nobu hotels in Miami Beach and Chicago; Hard Rock all-inclusive hotels in the Caribbean and Mexico; and UNICO 20°87° Hotel Riviera Maya.
