Suffice it to say ALG Vacations won big during the 11th annual Travvy Awards gala, taking home an impressive 10 awards, including four Golds, two Silvers and four Bronzes.
The Travvy Awards gala was held at the Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention Center on Nov. 7, with the winning companies selected by travel advisors who are experts when it comes to assessing the quality of suppliers.
“The real influencers in travel, the travel advisors, have made their voices known, and we are beyond excited to celebrate the best of the best at the 2025 Travvy Awards,” said Eric Bowman, editor-in-chief of TravelPulse.
“The winners consistently deliver magical moments, exceeding expectations in helping curate lifelong memories for travelers around the world,” he added.
Here’s a breakdown of the Travvy Awards captured by ALG Vacations companies.
Gold Awards
Funjet Vacations received four Gold Awards for the following categories: Best Tour Operator (Packaged) – Overall, Best Tour Operator (Packaged) – Family, Best Tour Operator (Packaged) – Mexico and Best Tour Operator (Packaged) – Europe.
For its part, Apple Vacations received a Gold Award for Best Tour Operator (Packaged) – Caribbean.
Silver Awards
Funjet and Apple Vacations were also the recipients of two Silver Awards for Best Tour Operator (Packaged) – US and Canada and Best Tour Operator (Packaged) – Mexico, respectively.
Bronze Awards
Funjet was also honored with a Bronze Award for Best Tour Operator (Packaged) – Europe, while Blue Sky Tours received a Bronze Award for Best Tour Operator (Packaged) – Hawaii.
Apple Vacations received a Bronze Award for Best Tour Operator (Packaged), and Travel Impressions was honored with a Bronze Award for Best Tour Operator (Packaged) – US/Canada.
ALG Vacations has a venerable history, with its roots dating back to the founding of Apple Vacations in 1969, which eventually became a unit of Apple Leisure Group.
Over the years, Apple Group underwent a significant expansion through a number of acquisitions and was purchased by Hyatt Hotels in 2021.
