Amtrak is offering a new limited-time winter deal for travelers, with up to 30 percent savings on regularly priced adult fares for any tickets in coach for trains traveling between Boston and Washington, D.C.—and the cities in between.
Travelers can enjoy the benefits of train travel, with reclining seats, no middle seats and scenic views, for cheaper when they book by January 9 for travel between January 20 and February 12.
With several major cities between Washington, D.C., and Boston, travelers can easily take a day trip or a short weekend getaway to or from New York City, Baltimore, New Haven, Providence, or Philadelphia by train.
Travelers who register for Amtrak Guest Rewards will also earn points over time to redeem for Amtrak reward travel. Members can earn points on every dollar they spend, with bonus points for those who book business-class or Acela First Class travel. Reward travel can be redeemed and enjoyed for as few as 400 points.
