Curacao hosted 60,690 overnight visitors in August, a four percent increase compared with the same period a year ago, according to Curacao Tourist Board data.

The increase was generated in part by North America, which grew by seven percent during the period. South America led with a 17 percent increase in arrivals, while both Europe and the Caribbean region recorded declines of five and seven percent, respectively.

A total of 15,773 visitors came from the United States. In terms of accommodations, 70 percent of U.S. travelers stayed in resort hotels, while 30 percent chose other forms of accommodation. The average length of stay was 5.8 nights.

Europe and North America were the top source regions in terms of overall number of arrivals, recording 23,511 and 17,061 overnight visitors in August. Overall, visitors stayed in Curacao an average of 8.2 nights during the month of August, according to immigration card data.

Curacao hosted 1,118,081 visitors during the first eight months of 2025, including 527,412 overnight arrivals, 31,028 day-trippers, and 559,641 cruise passengers, reflecting an overall growth of seven percent compared to the same period last year.

The total number of August arrivals represents a 23 percent increase over one year ago.
