This spring, JetBlue plans to add even more flights to one of its most important focus cities in Florida.

The budget carrier has just announced that it plans to launch two new domestic routes from Fort Lauderdale International Airport (FLL) starting in May.

The first route to launch will be daily service from FLL to Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) starting on March 12. The route was originally announced as a seasonal, spring-break only service, but JetBlue says it will now operate flights year-round.

Then, on May 21, the carrier will launch twice-daily flights between FLL and Orlando International Airport (MCO). The new nonstop service will offer both a morning and evening flight between the two Florida hubs.

The airline also said it would add two additional daily flights to its popular existing service between New York LaGuardia (LGA) and FLL in the spring.

To celebrate the new launches, JetBlue is offering introductory fares on both routes that start at $49 one way. Travelers need to book by January 9 to score the cheapest fares, which are valid for travel from May 26 to June 30, 2026, on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

In recent months, JetBlue has been rapidly expanding its Fort Lauderdale-based route network. Over the course of 2025, the airline operated its largest-ever flight schedule out of FLL, which culminated in December with a total of 113 daily departures to 46 nonstop destinations.

“These additions reflect the momentum we’ve built in Florida and our continued investment in Fort Lauderdale as a key gateway in our network,” said Dave Jehn, vice president, network planning and airline partnerships at JetBlue. “By connecting our focus cities and expanding successful routes, we’re giving customers more reasons to choose JetBlue for travel within Florida and beyond.”

The carrier also added more aircraft outfitted Mint business class cabins from both Fort Lauderdale and Orlando in 2025 amid a boom in premium demand.

Looking ahead to the rest of 2026, JetBlue plans to continue its growth in the Fort Lauderdale market. In addition to the new routes, the airline says it will open a new Mint inflight crewmember base in Fort Lauderdale, “reinforcing the airline’s investment in the region,” JetBlue said.
