ALG Vacations (ALGV) is paying tribute to World Kindness Day with the expansion of its Kindness Contributions program in 2026.
“This year’s initiative, aligned with the theme Kindness Carries On, represents the program’s largest investment to date, awarding $9,000 in contributions to travel advisors making a difference in their local communities and across the globe, nearly quadrupling the amount distributed in the previous year,” the company said.
For next year’s Kindness initiative, ALGV will choose 15 travel advisors as recipients of Kindness contributions with four advisors in three categories.
The categories include Kindness Begins Here for advisors who support local communities through volunteering their time at food banks and youth programs and more; Kindness Travels Far, for agent efforts in “giving back to destinations in need, including ongoing relief and community support in places like Jamaica; and Kindness Endures, for advisors who show sustain “kindness for tomorrow through education, empowerment and sustainability initiatives,” ALG said.
The four advisors in each category will receive $500 contributions, and one advisor will receive $1,000, totaling $9,000 in contributions, which will be awarded in gift cards.
“Each recipient and their supported cause will also be featured across ALG Vacations’ public relations, social media, and marketing channels.” ALGV said.
Nominations are now open and will be accepted through Dec. 19, 2025, with winners announced in January.
“Kindness has become a defining part of who we are at ALG Vacations,” said Jacki Marks, Global Head of Trade Brands. “Through our Kindness Contributions, we’re recognizing advisors who embody care in action – those who go beyond business to make meaningful impacts in their communities and the destinations they love,” she added.
ALGV encouraged advisors to take advantage the company’s ALGV360° Kindness Toolkit and Kindness Cards to spark positive connections with agency team members customers and local communities.
ALGV will also reprise its annual Kindness Events, which offer support to local communities. Next year’s event will take place Puerto Morelos, Mexico, on July 13-17.
World Kindness take place every year on Nov. 13.
