Tauck debuted its first Cruise Control riverboat retreat in November, hosting 120 women from the travel industry on a Danube sailing focused on professional development and wellness.
The seven-day journey began in Budapest aboard the ms Savor and explored the Danube through strolls in Bratislava, visits to Vienna’s holiday markets, a wine tour in Dürnstein and more.
The trip also included an open house aboard the ms Savor to help better understand the ship’s layout and amenities and a Tauck-exclusive Imperial Evening at Palais Pallavicini in Vienna.
The departure focused on women’s wellness and professional development, featuring a roundtable with Tauck CEO Jennifer Tombaugh, psychotherapist Niro Feliciano and superyacht captain Sandy Yawn of Bravo’s “Below Deck,” along with additional leadership and wellness sessions led by industry experts.
“Cruise Control brought together an extraordinary group of women and allies who enrich our industry every day,” said Tombaugh. “The depth and caliber of the program sparked the kind of honest, energizing conversations that create true connection, something our industry clearly craves and deeply appreciates.”
Tauck plans to explore more ways to expand women’s personal enrichment and special programming based on the energy and interest generated onboard.
